Pittsburgh has become a bit of a Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde team IMO. But I agree, they likely match up better with the Patriots then the Texans or Giants. And just about any team matches up better with the Pats then the Colts.

It really doesn't matter who they play. People are so sick of pre season and starved for regular season play by that time they could have titans vs jaguars and everyone would tune in.

It's not Philly's fault Washington was awful last year. They were supposed to be good with RGIII after getting into the playoffs the previous year. They destroyed Washington on the road, and the Redskins ended up being terrible ever since.

I ordered a pizza for that Monday Night game and was in shock when the eagles was scoring pts on every possession

I was like....."is this the same crappy team from last season

Since the Eagles became alive again in 2000, the only good AFC team they played on the road in week 1 was the Titans 12 years ago. So it's not something you see too often when the Eagles play their first game of the season.
