This has been a long time battle. Personally I have been on the fence about it, but I guess it is time. Investors now calling on major sponsors to force change.

That's what FedEx Field (Originally Jack Kent Cooke Stadium) was. Old man Cooke built the thing himself.
But, the argument is that the district won't let them do anything unless the name is changed. Whether he puts money down or not. It's unlikely Maryland would, either.. Virginia.. Possibly.

Wow, seems this is happening everywhere. LandOLakes butter changed their packaging for basically the same reason. If they change it one possibility is the Washington Hogs, since they do have that history. They can have porky pig as their logo.
