How do you pronounce "Favre"? Is it "favor" or "fav-ree"?

Far-ve. You pronounce the r before the v. I hope that helps.

Agreed

Drop the e and swap the v and r and you've got Farv. Pronounced Like far with a v tacked on. I think this only applies to Brett and family, but then he's in a league of his own.

This is how all media people pronounce it, but anybody who has ever studied French knows it's incorrect. Then again, we say Ill - ih - noy not Ill-e-nwa for Illinois.

How do you pronounce Favre? If Brett manages to win his next two games, you'll be pronouncing it, "D-A-D-D-Y".

They did an infidelity survey in Green Bay polling heterosexual spouses... 99 % of women and 79% of (straight) men said they'd only cheat on their spouses with Brett Farve LOL

It sounds like "Farv." The proper French pronunciation would be "FAH-vruh," but I remember Brett saying a long time ago that the mispronunciation was a result of his mixed-up heritage, which is part Cajun and part Choctaw Indian. (Brett is 1/4 Choctaw.)
