Not when it comes to being chased by more than one defender on 3rd down. He needs a strong offensive line since he is so limited when it comes to getting away from a pass rusher. There was nothing impressive about that youtube clip because he was not being chased and only had to run 2 yards for a touchdown.

That play wasn't exactly a scramble, but he has more mobility than some people believe.

He is incredibly creative, but his genius happens before the game (or season) starts, not necessarily during the broken down plays. But there's no way you can seriously want Romo over Manning.

Peyton was a Colt from 1998 to 2011. Pro Football Reference is where I got these stats. It's shows where the Indianapolis Colts were ranked in total defense for those specific years.

1998-29th
1999-17th
2000-15th
2001-31st
2002--8th
2003-20th
2004-19th
2005-11th
2006-23rd
2007--1st
2008--7th
2009--8th
2010-23rd
2011-injured-did not play

4 seasons out of 13 seasons were, yes, good seasons for the Indy defense. That's it.

Peyton needed a defense, just like any HOF quarterback did. Those stats speak for themselves. Your comment, um, is incorrect.

I'll bet I know why he would have fear in his eyes if what you say could be true. When he retired it was reported by ABC News when Dallas let him go that he had suffered 10 concussions in his career. That's right, 10 of them. He was only 34 when he retired.

It is more trying to make a case perpetually for Romo. Aikman retired young and was a great QB. We've gone down the road already with someone else trying to bang the Eli drum, which made me smile, almost laugh.

I love Rodgers and freely admit it, sometimes I think more weight should be given to eras when QBs were playing. Things are definitely different now.

This complete and utter nonsense has gone on long enough.
