romo is generally in the top ten in QBs that are active.

Both Cutler and Romo have broken QB records in their franchise.

For Cutler, that isn't saying much, look at the Bears past QBs....just the fact that he plays in a pass happy league gives him the edge in that regard.

To be overrated, he has to be ranked higher than he should be by major outlets and not just some fans rankings. Personally, i don't see any major outlets ranking Romo in the top 5 of todays QBs! He is typically in that next group of 6 - 10. I think that is exactly where he belongs.

After his first season and a half as a starter, he set the bar real high and was over rated. After that, he tumbled back to earth with some mediocre seasons but his last few seasons has seen him mature and play much better.

IMO, Romo is not overrated! He is over hyped, over scrutinized, over analyzed, but not overrated. Romo is a top 10 QB in the NFL because I don't see 20 more starting QBs better than him... but then again, that is just my opinion!

Eil Manning this guy is talked about as a potential Hall of Famer because he has won two rings but he has never been a to 5 QB and had some horrible seasons.

2011 NFL Passing | Pro-Football-Reference.com

#4. You can even move him up to #3 or #2 considering he was spectacular in the postseason and the SB MVP. He wasn't that bad last year either.

I like your list but i have to say Cutler is not overrated simply because there aren't too many people rating him "highly". Most people think he's bad, if anything, he's underrated in that regard.
