What has Jay Cutler done for the Bears to be underrated?

There is reasons why teams did not trade get Jay Culter even those a lot of teams were begging QB.

Jay Cutler is Jeff George reincarnated.

#4. You can even move him up to #3 or #2 considering he was spectacular in the postseason and the SB MVP. He wasn't that bad last year either.
You do realize that being a good QB is more then how many passing yards you have. Look at that list Matthew Stafford is in first which tells you how good of an indicator it is on who is the best QB.

And how many comebacks did he have in 2011? You really want to say Eli hasn't had any career years?

It's hard to say if he was even available at the end of the day. Once the Bears fired their coach and GM, the new regime might have looked around the garbage available around the league and felt they had to keep Cutler for a chance at being competitive.

If you have to come back that means the other team is outplaying you it is not a good thing. I never said he did not have career years just not years as a top 5 QB there is a difference.

It's a team game. Eli was absolutely a top 5 QB that year. You can put Rodgers and Brees above him since they were so spectacular, but I'd put him at #3 if you include postseason, and certainly top 5 for the regular season.

That is why we have draft get young blood. I hope the Bears draft a QB next year.

Is this a joke? I don't think anyone even considers Geno Smith to be a serviceable quarterback. I agree with you on the rest of the overrated list although I think Foles and Smith are rated just fine and Cousins isn't good enough to be a starting quarterback anywhere in the league IMO.
