I like that reverse psychology. Tiki Barber ripped Eli Manning last year just before the season started. And it worked: Manning and his Giants won the Super Bowl. Strahan is ripping Manning again to continue motivating him so that the NY G-men can repeat.

I was pissed to hear that Burress decided to skip that team meeting/practice. Just after he signed a fat contract. But I was surprised Coughlin suspended him for 2 weeks and a game. I thought that was a bit over an overreaction. I would've thought that suspending him for a quarter (i.e. he doesn't get to start) and fining him x thousand bucks would've sufficed.

Anyway, the Giants and Burress have agreed to the 1-game suspension and half the fine.

Huge win by the Giants, even without Burress. NYG squeaked past Seattle Seahawks, 44-6. The offense rolled up over 500 yards and the defense surrendered less than 200 yards. Now that's good football!

Cool, thanks for posting that Burress article. Yes, I agree with the write: no single player is above the team. That even includes Manning. I hope Burress takes this the right away instead of pouting and becoming a distraction like Owens is becoming to the Cowboys.
