Yes, I think Coughlin is done if they dont make the playoffs. I also think that, from ownership's point of view, right or wrong, the entire Sunday episode was the nail in the coffin.

He should go even if they back into the playoffs. At best they end up 8-8, not a good coaching job.

BTW, where has Eli been in regards to OBJ? This is the exact spot for a veteran QB to be a leader.

Evidently, this video shows Marcus Ball, a Panthers practice squad player, holding a bat, and Beckham get into a pre-game altercation on the field. Manning and Wing had to restrain him.

That is a pre game ritual that has happened multiple games.

This "bat" issue is noise plain and simple trying to deflect from a player who lost it on the field.

OBJ got off easy w a 1 game suspension, and he has the gall to appeal it.

I hope he takes responsibility at some point. Very sad.

Fined and suspended? For a little thing like spearing another player with his helmet?

C'mon! It's not like he did something really serious. You know, like being generally aware that someone might've let some air out of a football...

bat or not bat, why was the Practice squad player jawing with OBJ? You can tell he was not wielding the bat in a threatening way but still, ****! I don't understand why they can't just play and keep their mouths shut.. I get the on the field banter but this started way before kickoff and is just unnecessary BS.. anyone that engages in crap like this before the kickoff is low class, and likely low IQ..

I partly guess is that they only use this tactic on certain players. OBJ had a history of losing his cool coming into this game. That is why they probably did it on him. Unless they have been doing this to every number one receiver on every team. Not sure about that though.

I agree and I don't give the Panthers a total pass for their antics. There should be fines assesssed, and Rivera should make it a point that this pre-game ritual crap doesn't happen.

Is there any more frustrating player on the Giants did Rueben Randle, especially with Damontre Moore gone? I wouldnt be suprised if the Giants let him go, or try to sign him at a really lower rate. I don't think much discussion needs to be made of that nationally televised butt whippin' the Giants received at the hands of the Vikes, so I think it will be interesting to see what the next couple of weeks hold.

First, will they show up and beat the Eagles? And then, the inevitable: the fates of Coughlin and Reese. Any thoughts anyone on what these two fates should be?

Giants are a mess. Time to blow them up and rebuild. Other than Eli, ODBJ and JPP.... they're all disposable.
