I am surprised the Giants beat the Eagles today. The offensive line, which loss Justin Pugh as well, played waaaay better than I expected. Also glad that Paul Perkins finally got some run, and that TE Larry Donnell stopped getting so much.

I am surprised too because it's just something I am not used to seeing.

Giants on six game winning streak, but now it gets difficult closing the season with Pittsburgh, Detroit, Dallas, Philly and Washington. Eagles and Redskins will both be on the road. Detroit could be a tough game as well, as both teams have played similar type games all year: Nail biters in the fourth quarter. Heck, the game will probably come down to the Giants leading late in the fourth, and the Lions will get the ball with enough time for one potential game winning or game tying drive. But, that is getting a little ahead of myself--Pittsburgh next week is going to be tough.

I swear, I think the Lions purposely play a game of cat and mouse with their opponents just so they can have the impressive last minute win.

Yes, and the Giants seem to play that same game; with the exception being the are usually on defense for the final drive, and the Lions seem to be on offense.

As a Cowboy fan, the Giants are the one team I don't want to face....I just don't like the matchup....I would rather play Seattle, Detroit, Atlanta, GB, even Wash again....Giants always seem to rediscover their defense when they play the Cowboys....We make Eli look like his brother when we play them

The Giants are a weird team to watch in a game. In one quarter they look so elite, and then the next, they look like a complete rookie team. I don't know how they always get so far, but they do it somehow.

I agree....they play us and the Pats really tough and I'm worried how they winning so any games right now. They are the only team with recent SB victories in our division and I worry about them defeating my Boys in the playoffs and going to SB and beating Brady a third time.

Don't get me wrong, as a Cowboy fan, I like the result of the Giant-Steelers game. Just a point to bring up....Does McAdoo know that in American Football, you are allowed to kick FGs?

I wondered that, too plus going for the 4th downs with longer yardage rather than a yard or two?
