I like the Giants chances, but I still think GB and NO are the teams to beat. I think SF will have problems.

No arguement here, but I am not ready to count out the Steelers yet.

Giants are not hot ... they just played a less than mediocre Dallas team that had a hurt QB, missing their #1 RB, and the #2 was hurt. The Giants secondary is almost as bad as Dallas' was and a team like the Saints or GB will be hard to beat. Gfans need to temper themselves a bit.

No sympathies from a Giants fan in regards to the Cowboys' injuries. But I do think GB or NO will be difficult to beat especially on their home fields.

Give it a rest Tex. The Giants have had more injuries to key players than just about any team in the league. Bottom line is that the Cowboys stink and have for a long time.

The Giants are not a great team at this point, but they are a great organization. The same can't be said for the Cowboys.

Exactly Tex.... nobody here in Giantland expects a Super Bowl. But this team does the most with what it has unlike others. Also, you never know in todays NFL, I didnt expect a Super Bowl in 07 either.

Reason I said Giants are hot, not the best word maybe, watching them give the Packers a hard time, knowing they have injuries, beat the Cowboys twice, I think Giants are a good team and a good organization.

Also reading at my favorite team's website, they list the Giants as a team for concern as much as the New Orleans Saints.

Whoa!

The whole Giant starting D was intact for this game. Only once did one of the d-backs go out for a series(3rd quarter).

I was merely stating the Giants are NOT hot and a bit of temperance might be a valuable characteristic at this time ... heck, the only team they beat lately has been a poor Dallas team. And both times that poor Dallas team gave them a run for their money. This is a Dallas team that even you admit is the bottom of the barrel.

I said NOTHING to demean the Giants unlike the hateful tone in the above post.. Dallas had just as many injuries as the Gmen this year. For a game and a half we had NO defensive backfield starters consistently playing.

Being a Cowboy fan and having watched them since the Ice Bowl days I am well aware of their organizational deficiencies and lament it constantly.

NYG have a good chance to win against Atlanta. Best pray they don't play NO though.

This is my 1st foray into the CD sports talk arena and thought it might be interesting to discuss pro ball here.

Y'all have a good one!

See, this is what I dont like about the injury problems the Giants have had...since the Giants lost 2/3 of their starting linebackers for the year before the season even started--people have forgotten. Do you know who started at MLB for the Giants the past couple of games? Chase Blackburn. Although a former Giant, do you know where he was in November? On the couch. The Giants lost their #1 corner in the preseason for the year. So what you see from the Giants is hardly an intact starting D.

I agree that the Giants havent been lighting up the league, and may not go far in the playoffs...I was just stating that I have no sympathy for any injury problems on any team because the Giants started the season in the hole as far as injuries go. It is amazing they won the division considering what they lost.

You thnk N.E. walks past Baltimore? I dont see it.
Baltimore is another hot and cold team. Pittsburgh is a little banged up and won't be the same team that defeated NE earlier in the season. As much as I hate to say it, if NE is running on all cylinders they will be the team to beat.
