Normal people don't get to go to the Super Bowl anymore, from what I've heard about trying to get tickets.

Nope, why the heck would I leverage my home equity for a football game?!?!? That's the only way normal people get the cash to go.

One of my coworkers went to a Cowboys/Bills SB in the early '90s in Atlanta. He said he had a blast (he's a Cowboys fan). People were willing to pay him 8 times face value for his ticket, but he resisted the urge to sell. After the game (where the Bills lost yet again in a close one), he said Cowboys fans did a good job not trash talking w/ Bills fans b/c of all the consecutive SB losses the Bills had.

Never been and never would go. Too much money. As much as I love NFL football, I would never fork out the dough it cost to go to post season games. Regular season is about all I will ever pay for. For the cost of 2 to go to the Superbowl, me and my wife could take our dream vacation to New Zealand. Unfortunately, watching videos about New Zealand on TV doesn't work as well as watching the superbowl on tv.
