hey now, there is green out here in the desert. we have green cactus, green mesquite trees, there is even green grass here as well.

and if you came out here, you wouldnt have to "work" on your tan.

I really don't have to work on my tan here at this time of year either. Our UV index is 7 which is the high end of the spectrum. In fact, despite the rainy summer, we had a nice dry, and unusually warm May, and I've had it going since then. I know what you're saying though. I've been to Florida in the summer time, and the sun is rather strong there. BTW, I'm not saying I wouldn't want to visit the desert southwest, but I couldn't see living there, even if the climate is warm year round. Too arid for me. I like my tropical heat, as well as greenery and my share of thunderstorms.... Sadly with all of the rain we've received I haven't seen many of those either.

I usually occupy my summer with the Red Sox mostly. Go to a few games which are just as fun a crowd as football.

But I do watch golf and tennis as well.

How about watching old games on youtube? Several are on there, including the last super bowl.

I'm glad we all can agree. Stay away from watching soccer.

I will admit watching soccer, just two games! USA women against Germany and then Japan! Sweet!

The women's world cup was great to watch. Much less flopping & whining compared to the men! It's men's soccer that I don't like.

I've done that a couple of times this summer. Watched a couple of old Browns-Steelers games. Seeing some of the old commercials that weren't edited out was a hoot too!

Women's World Cup Soccer was terrific. USA looked exceptionally powerful when they beat both Germany and Japan.

You're right about Youtube. That provides yet another source of FOOTBALL!

It's amazing what you can find on You Tube. I've even found bits and pieces of broadcasts of Browns games from the Kardiac Kids era, when Brian Sipe was the QB, and Ozzy Newsome was new to the league.

Hey! If they have one, YOU seriously need to put in for the Cleveland Browns #1 Fan award! I'd vote for you! You're a walking/talking billboard for the Brownies!

However, the Cardinals haven't been in Arizona long enough to have many super fans yet. I guess the jury is still out for many Arizonans! However, I've personally taken more of a liking to them.
