Canadian football is not the same as American football. Canadian football only has three downs while American football has four downs. Canadian penalty flags are red while American penalty flags are yellow. Canadian football fields are longer than American football fields or even an Arena football field.
In the CFL, there is a three minute warning while in the NFL is a two minute warning with Arena/indoor football has a one minute warning with college and high school football having no minute warnings at all.
