Word is that Geno owed the dude that hit him $600 for a plane ticket and said he didn't have the money. All I can say is; _____ better have my money!
I read this too. Guy must have purchased a non refundable ticket. Thought they could be used for some credit (-$200 for change charges) if the ticket was not used, just not 'fully refundable' without change fees.
There are some reporters and ex-players that think this is also indicative of a lack of leadership on Geno Smith's part and a lack of respect for him in the locker room. They basically pointed out that if Geno had been a respected QB with leadership qualities (Manning, Brady, Brees, etc.), then this likely would have never escalated to that degree.

Both sports talk radios in NYC are playing up that theme this morning and a surprising number of callers agree with that sentiment. Like one caller said, he couldn't imagine this happening to Eli Manning.
Thank you JETS! Honestly, I feel bad for their fans, because as a Browns fan I've lived through more than my fair share of dysfunction since they've been back, but it looks as though we are no longer the poster child for the most dysfunctional team in the NFL. Seems to me the Jets are taking over that spot.

I wonder if Rex will be giving Enemkpali a call soon to come play for him. Bills don't have a clear starter yet, so he wouldn't have to worry about Enemkpali knocking the star out.
Sure. But it has been relatively quiet so far. No QB controversy. No BS from Johnny Football, like last year. I'll take that as a good thing.
The problem is that by midseason when McCown is likely tanking and Manziel proves that he isn't ready to be an NFL starter, then Browns fans will be calling for blood.

Well - he would have paid back the money if he had leadership qualities. He's not making minimum wage is he?
