I predict the 49ers new alternate uniform will be the new, ugliest-uniform-in-the-league

Steelers @ Patriots: Steelers. Angry Brady comes out tonight due to all the off season news. But too much on the angry side results in poor Patriot play.

I predict the Duluth Eskimos will defeat the Providence Steam Roller 6-4 in overtime, in an unusual game featuring five safeties.

But dreams of a Minnesota sweep will be dashed in the late game, when the Minneapolis Red Jackets fall to the Frankford Yellow Jackets 6-1 in the vaunted battle o' the jackets. The Yellow Jackets will score a 60-yard touchdown pass on a fake field goal (it would have been a really long attempt). Then, while going for two, the Frankford quarterback will drop back over 100 yards before being sacked for a 1-point safety.

Film at 11...

Am I the only one who thinks the Redskins pull out a victory over the Dolphins?

Everyone's projecting Washington to be the worst team in the NFL. I think Jacksonville and Tampa Bay fight for that honor again.. Washington won't be good.. An 8-8 season is a possibility, and is a stretch.. But I think the floor is another 4-12 season.. The wildly optimistic is 11-5 and there'll be slogans in DC like there were with "Horny for Zorny" if that happens.

The key against the Dolphins is whether they can establish the run game. Hell, that's the key for their season. I don't see Miami putting 30+ points on the board.. If Morris can't get going, Matt Jones could prove a good change of pace to establish the running game. They need to get that going to prevent having Cousins throw the ball 40 times a game. I'd like to see him under 30 pass attempts.

Games they should win.. Legitimately, I feel, are against the Jets, Bucs, Bears.

I think they can split the division games, if they're really lucky.. Skins-Cowboys is almost always a split, regardless of how good/bad either team is. So, that brings them to 6 possible wins.

Now, the 50/50 games.. Dolphins, Rams (Because this is so early in the season), Saints OR Panthers (not both) and Bills.

I have no question they lose at least once to each division opponent.. They lose to the Patriots, they lose to the Falcons.

Betting line is Redskins +3.5.. I'd take that. An over/under of 43.5.. Take the under. I see this being a tight game.. Something like 21-20. I just hope the Skins aren't down by points in the 2 minute drill, because that's when Cousins tends to freak out. I hope to see a line from Cousins something like 20-27 230yds 2TD 1INT. NO FUMBLES. 2 Sacks. and about 15 yards rushing from him. And a 100yd combined day from Morris and Jones. If we get lines like that.. HTTR.

Oh, sure, change your mind now! Don't you want to change the Vikes @ 49ers, too? Oh, wait, I picked the Vikes, what was I thinking?
