Congrats! Looks like you won the week's pool. Sorry I have to "spread some reputation" before I can give you your just rewards.

Thanks! I'm worried about next week, because there are a lot of strange match ups. Not to mention I came out guns blazing week 1 with a 13-3 record, and in week 2 went 3-13. We'll see what happens.

This year has been downright strange! I pointed out the "experts" picks have followed our patterns, too! Great one week not so hot the next. At NFL Pickwatch none of them are doing as well as last year. Overall last year, Cris Carter did the best, which was rather a shock to me, probably more luck than actual knowledge. And, yes, I know that isn't being nice!

The AFC powerhouses to decent teams of past, with the exception of New England, have been medicore to awful (Pitt, Bal, IND, SD). Cincy has been good and so has Denver, but Denver looks so ugly, it's only a matter of time before they fall apart. Some teams have been surprisingly good like NYJ.

Same on the NFC: GB is still a powerhouse, but Philly, Detroit, SF, Dallas, New Orleans are awful, and Seattle is okay. Atlanta is surprisingly good, and so is NYG I guess (though I picked them to win the division at the start of the year). Makes it hard to pick games I guess.

As the weeks go on, people will probably start taking the good teams for real (like Atlanta, NYJ, NYG). I like Cris Carter, not sure what you have against him.

Have a safe trip!

During the Sunday or Monday night games (SF @ NYG and Pitts @ SD) one of the commentators mentioned that one of the players had been out all of the 2014-2015 season due to a knee(?) injury sustained in the previous season. Does anyone know who that player might be? I think they said it takes him hours to prepare for a game due to the injury and that he still has a lot of pain. The player would be on one of the four teams I mentioned.

Not sure. No one I can think of. Look up every player on their rosters? Get NFL Rewind and rewatch both games?
