Wouldn't it be nuts if the NFL built the Bengals up to be a huge contender for the first 8, then paid them millions to tank last night. Andy Dalton was a huge bust all game. Tyler Eifert, A.J. Green, damn near every one of their weapons did nothing, and in another Prime Time game. Hoyer comes out for what didn't look at all like a concussion, and TJ Yates comes back in to beat roughly the ONLY team he can beat in the NFL. Announcers were on JJ Watt's nuts the whole game and who gets a sack on the final drive when he was held for no sacks the whole game? Hue Jackson's magical offense comes out and runs 3 creative plays on their first drive, then just stops for the rest of the game? Ex-Bengal Johnathan Joseph tears up Dalton like he always does. Built up a hell of a story!
I wish it were all true, that it was all just a hoax. We can all dream . The Bungles showed up this week. I hope they can get it together for this coming Sunday against another ex-Bengal Carson Palmer, but, I think they'll be 8-2 after a loss at the Cards.
5-9 is rock bottom for us. Flipping coins may have had better results.
The only loser where we think we should have won was Dallas. They basically led the whole game and allowed a critical third down conversion very late in the game. Also Philly was up 16-3. GB and CN offense did not show up. Houston scoring 10 points would have been prayed for by coach Lewis before the game. He got it but it was too many.
On to week 11 to see how bad, I mean how good we can do.
