'72 Dolphins - Still the only team with a perfect season!

Actually going into the 1972 season , it appeared the Dolphins had a very challenging schedule. They had to play the Chiefs (10-3-1) and the Vikings (11-3), both on the road, and 2 games against their fierce division rivals, the Colts (10-4). It is not their fault those teams faded in 1972.

Well here it is just week #5 and there are no longer any unbeaten and untied teams as Kansas City loses to the Colts keeping the 72' Dolphin mystique alive for another season.It has been 38 years since this amazing feat showing that it is not easy to win every game in one season.


The champagne will be flowing by the 72' Dolphin's tonight as they own the title of the only undefeated team since the inception of the Super Bowl.Congratulations to them as most of the players are now 60 years of age and older.
