Defense won the Giants that game. More than Eli Manning.
Everyone was part of that win for the Giants. Do not downgrade the drive that Eli had to finish the game. Getting away from three defenders, and heaving the ball downfield to David Tyree was an awesome play.

Yes, absolutely, I was amazed that he got out of that pack of Pats. But the fact of the matter is that the Giants defense (especially Tuck and Strahan), put together 4 amazing defensive quarters to set that magnificent ending up. Not taking away anything from Eli at all ... just saying that the defense orchestrated that win and Eli finished it with precision.
i don't believe they are a dynasty now there's another chapter to spygate that goes back to their super bowl years.they are a claseless organization starting with the head coach he has no respect for the nfl or any of the coaches on other teams.what he does at the end of games with the handshake is pitiful and disrespectful he is the thrash of the nfl not the class.
Well last night was a wonderful night for a lot of people including myself. I only seen the 2nd half and that was the only part of the game that seem to have anything anyway. I am very happy that the Pats lost it serves Brady right they all thought that they would walk in there and finish history. I think that i heard it best one announcer said this before the game (sean slasbury?) If the pats dont win tonight they will be the worst 18-1 team in history and lookie lookie what happen.
I do have to admit that is the best superbowl in a LONG time. But just a great great feeling to see the Manning boys go back to back Archie must feel pretty good about now

I was rooting for the Patriots to win, but like the Giants as well. After that classless move by Bellichick at the end of the game, I'm glad the Patriots lost.
I'm still kind of irked that more isn't being said about Bellicheck leaving the field before the game was over. If I was a member of the Patriots during this crucially heartbreaking loss, the sight of Bellicheck walking off would depress me even more.
Randy Moss got how much trash piled on him for walking to the tunnels before the game was over in a regular season game? Bellicheck was supposed to be their "leader" (as Tom Brady kept annunciating during Media Week). Talk about classless. You don't leave your team like that no matter what the circumstances are. And especially in some circumstances.

During this the refs were huddling and then decided to put one second back on the clock...by then BB was at the tunnel and kept going - my guess is he didn't even know they were adding time.
They had to find some players to come back out - I read that Junior Seau had to borrow a helmet to go back on the field - and they even had to find Eli who was over near the stands celebrating. So, please - how is this running off the field? How can you even compare it to what Moss did when he left (while there was still time on the clock)?

Maybe, he could have stayed until they all walked off?
Yes, it was hectic even with that 1 second left, but he left on his own, without anybody else on his team except for an armed escort.
Well one thing I didn't see was any Patriot players congratulate any Giant players. Guess Bill's been giving them pointers.....
