I get the angst. You prefer teams to just stop the nonsense and play the game. No dancing after a sack, no first down motions after a big run or catch, no TD shenanigans.. yadda yadda yadda. Well, that shipped has sailed.
Here is a snippet of the petition:
"Cam Newton is one of the most unprofessional, unsportsmanlike individual (sic) on the face of the planet," the petition reads. "So I say for the 2016-2017 (season) when the Panthers come to play in Seattle he should be banned from entering the stadium. This should teach him to put his arrogance in check!!"
This from a fan base who has been cheering hard and loud for Richard Sherman for the past 4 or 5 years... SERIOUSLY! you can't make this stuff up!
