Having said that.....his agent had a letdown if he is truly #14 in pay.

Apparently, the Patriots winning tradition the past 15 or so years plus having Tom Brady to throw to him are more important than his salary. Has probably helped him get the outside endorsements in the 1st place.

I've heard the same thing expressed about other Patriots. So I guess Kraft can take advantage of these attitudes.

I understand that Brady himself has voluntarily sacrificed some of his pay for cap purposes so that the team can sign quality players.

He will likely get a contract restructure very soon...

He is also much brighter about money than one would think, he lives off endorsement deals alone...hasn't touched any of his contract money

Should be set for life without going bankrupt when he finishes...

"To this day, I still haven't touched one dime of my signing bonus or NFL contract money," Gronkowski says in an excerpt of his book, which was authored by agent Jason Rosenhaus and previewed on TheMMQB.com on Monday. "I live off my marketing money and haven't blown it on any big-money expensive cars, expensive jewelry or tattoos and still wear my favorite pair of jeans from high school.
