Never understood why other teams let this guy go! He's always very good.

San Diego went with Ryan Mathews. New Orleans mismanaged their salary cap.

Ironically, both Mathews and Sproles are with the Eagles.

Even more ironic is that San Diego let both Sproles and Drew Brees go, and we've yet to see much progress by the Chargers.

Philadelphia needs to center their offense around their 2 best play makers - Darren Sproles and Jordan Matthews.

There were 3 key plays that doomed Philadelphia last night - Dallas running the fake punt, Smallwood fumbling and that awful swing pass that lead to an 8 yard loss and moved them out of FG range.
even if that play call had failed, it was an absolutely brilliant call, especially in the timing of the call. i watched another team pull out very old offensive sets, the power I, and the single wing formations, to run plays from. imagine a team like dallas that has two very solid and dangerous running backs, running the power I formation, or the later pro set formation with both back in the backfield.

Garrett showed last night that you have to take chances to win in the NFL. You can't play not to lose and settle for FG's or punt the ball away which I see too many coaches do in this league.

That was the exact moment I knew the Eagles would lose, despite the fact they were still leading the game at the time.
