i do wish eli had a better situation. as for dak, this is his second year in the league, the other teams have game film on him so they know how he reacts in certain situations, so dak is going to have to evolve if he is to continue growing as a quarterback, and i think he will do just that. he still has a lot to learn. remember romo wasnt all that good in his first few years at the helm, but he got better, dak will also.

and any quarterback benefits from having someone like elliot in the lineup for sure, but i think dak learns to adapt to not having elliot there to divide the defensive attention.if he can learn to do that, he will be successful on a par with guys like brady and manning.

I'm not saying Dak won't get better, but mentioning him being on par with Manning and Brady is straight up homerish. That's not going to happen. Best case scenario for Dak Prescott is that he settles in around the same level as Cam Newton, Matt Ryan, Phillip Rivers or Alex Smith. That's where I see Kirk Cousins headed. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's kind of the second tier of top quarterbacks in the league. Now, if I could be homerish for just one second, I'll say that what Kirk Cousins has been able to accomplish this year with the massive amount of injuries the 'skins have had (over 15 players on IR), key players out for several weeks, an offensive line that changes faces week in and week out, two of his best receivers gone in free agency, and his star tight end can't seem to get healthy enough to see the field, Cousins has proven to be a special player and a franchise quarterback. Cousins has had an outstanding year this year, on a team that at times hasn't even had enough guys to dress out for the game. If he leads the 'skins to 8 wins this year, it will be impressive after what this team has had to deal with. Now, going back to being realistic, as much of a fan I am of Kirk Cousins, I don't ever see him on the same level as Brady. He can easily be on the level with Phillip Rivers or Tony Romo. But, Brady and Manning? LOL, no. And definitely not with Dak Prescott.

Wentz has greatly improved this year and the games I've watched him play, he doesn't make any mistakes. He's an outstanding athlete as well. Also being a first rounder, you expect him to have a very high ceiling, and if he takes the Eagles all the way this year, then anything less than being considered among the elite in the league would be a disappointment.

In his 2nd year, he is leading the entire NFL in Pro Bowl votes.
He will lead the Eagles to the playoffs this year and HOPEFULLY to the Super Bowl.
If he had awesome wide receivers around him, who knows how good he would be.

Just to think - The Browns passed on him because his "analytics" weren't right.
