if the eagles and saints win this week, then we will have a three way tie in the NFC east at 6-6.

as i have noted many times, rivalry games are always fraught with upsets and strange goings on in the game, thus the redskins/eagles game outcome is not clear. the eagles won their last game, the redskins are on a two game losing streak.

as for cowboys/saints, the cowboys defense is one of the best in the league right now, 8th overall in fact, so the saints wont have an easy time against the boys. in the end however i think brees and company end up in the winners circle. saints over the cowboys 35-31. we shall see.

The Cowboys do have the best Defense in the NFC east and very solid overall but unless something screwy happens on Thursday, i don't think they will be much of a match for the Saints.

My prediction - Drew and Crew will have the Cowgirls shaking in their boots by the half.

Calico, just because they beat the Eagles like a red headed step child doesn't mean they do the same to the Cowboys.

I suspect you wont see the mass exodus until late 3rd quarter, early 4th.

Cowboys defense dominate the Saints offense. I am not just surprised, I am shocked! I knew they were really good but still didn't expect them to slow down the Saints especially all game. Hopefully this will spring board them into the final month and they will close out the regular season strong.

i also expected a higher scoring game. the defenses on both sides stepped up in that game.

but this game shows that the dallas defense is for real, now the offense needs to step up as well.

Without seeing the game, my guess was that the Saints took the night off - but saying that - it appears that Dallas just won the NFC East.

Once the Cowboys beat the Eagles, combined with Alex Smith's injury, I figured the NFC East is Dallas' is to lose. The win over the Saints is huge.
