Didn't Ditka fall asleep on air? That's tv gold if you ask me. I'll always have a soft spot for Da Coach. I had the opportunity to "meet" him once and it's one of my best life stories.

Ditka obviously took way too many head shots during his career, he was painful to watch and made little sense even when you could understand what he was saying, thinking he crapped his pants live on air once as well.

Randy Moss is the only one that I like. I'm also disappointed that they did away with the old music intro. ESPN lost a lot of talent this year across the board.

Tom Jackson was the glue that held that together. He was the calm voice of reason to all the blowhards yelling and acting like fools. He also knew the game very well and didn't need gimmicks or catch-phrases to be good. Should have kept him and not hired that Hassleback.

Ditka was/is a reactionary, ignorant, old-school bully. Great steak house though.

Berman, Moss, and Dilfer are fine but those other two need to go. But I guess it doesn't matter because once Berman leaves I won't have any reason to turn to Sunday Countdown at all. I can't even imagine who would be the host if Berman does retire after this season.

The problem with Ditka is he never could give an explanation as to why he was picking a certain team to win.

Jackson retired... I assume on his own terms.

I'm thinking he was forced into retirement because he is too young to retire.
