Gone:

Keyshawn Johnson
Chris Carter
Mike Ditka
Tom Jackson

New:

Matt Hasselbeck
Charles Woodson
Randy Moss

All I can say is….what was ESPN thinking? Charles Woodson sounds medicated, Hasselbeck is positively average, and Moss is the surprising pick of the group as the "color" guy, but I still can't stand him as a person (great player though)

I have to say this trade off was a downgrade in talent. I like Chris Carter, and Keyshawn had some pretty good moments. Ditka was awful, and Tom Jackson was above average. Anyone like the new lineup?

I greatly appreciate that both Hasselbeck and Trent Dilfer are in the studio at the same time. They're both very BRIGHT. Literally. Their shiny heads look like thousand-watt light bulbs.

They help keep me awake.

Berman will retire at the end of the football season. That's the good news.

Watched the Primetime show after the late games post T Jackson, J Saunders... now with Berman, Herm Edwards, and Ryan Clark.

I thought Clark did pretty well in his analysis. It almost seemed like an old show when they hit highlights of every game - except it was cut short by the baseball game.

They got rid of Ditka--that automatically made it better for me.

What was wrong with Ditka?

I like Ditka. He is football. Kind of like John Madden. I remember people complaining about John Madden and how annoying he was. Are you nuts? I always knew when John Madden and Pat Summerall did play by play, it was a big game. Mike Ditka is a classic. Had he said some derogatory about Donald Trump, he'd probably have his own show.

Ditka reminds me of Corso on college gameday, just past their prime and stuck around for a couple of seasons too long. I get their both iconic in many eyes but sometimes it's ok to walk away while you're ahead.

Tom Jackson I like and Moss has been surprising to me, in a good way. The others, from before and now, meh.

Ditka looked like "the most interesting man in the world" when they brought him back on Monday for a guest appearance.
