So with most teams having played 25% of their games now, what conclusions do you think we can draw about the rest of the season? What conclusion do you think you can draw about your fav team about the rest of the season? Would you change any of your playoff and SB picks?
And, I admit this is jumping to conclusions with a majority of the season still to play, but I think I have overrated the Arizona Cardinals. I havent been impressed with Carson Palmer at all this season. Losing to NE is one thing (really it wasnt without Tom Brady and at home), but getting blown out by Buffalo? Hmmm. On the opposite side of the coin, could this be the year that I finally stop doubting the Falcons? I am not sure, but right now, they look like they could run away and hide in the NFC South.
As for my team, the Giants, they look and still act like the Coughlin era Giants: Blow opportunities, play flat football at times, and do stupid things. And, maybe, they should consider themselves lucky to be 2-2/ The O line has held up better than expected, but where is the vaunted offense? The D hasnt produced sacks or turnovers (I think they are last in both categories).

The thing that is getting my attention more than anything else is how a group of rookie quarterbacks are doing as well as they have so far this season. And they would be:
Carson Wentz-Philadelphia Eagles
Jared Goff-Los Angeles Rams
Dak Prescott-Dallas Cowboys
Jacoby Prisset-New England Patriots
Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemien-Denver Broncos (yes Trevor is a 2nd year guy--BUT!)
You would have to go back to 1983 when John Elway, Dan Marino, Tony Eason, Jim Kelly, Todd Blackledge, and Ken O'Brien were rookies.
They certainly are doing well! Siemien is from Northwestern, for academic achievement, not necessarily many football players in the NFL. I grew up in Evanston so I casually keep an eye on Northwestern when it comes to college football.
