Living in Sioux Falls we have the Sioux Falls Storm. They play in the IFL and have pretty much dominated this league as well as the other league they were in previously.

I've been to a few games and have always enjoyed it. They draw extremely well selling out their venue over half the time (Over 10,000 capacity for football).

I used to enjoy it more when they used many more players from our region and STILL won championships. They've gone to the "grass is always greener" attitude now where nearly all the players come from colleges not in our area.

The level of play is very good, the action is fast, and everyone is up close to the action.

Milwaukee had a franchise called in the Milwaukee Iron from 1994-2001 and then again from 2009 (as the Milwaukee Iron) through 2012 (as the Milwaukee Mustangs again).

I attended a Lexington Horsemen game years ago. The team existed from 2003-2009.

I went all the time to Tampa Bay Storm games back in the early 2000's, when they were a dominant team and also when Arena Football was much more popular. Sad to see where it's at now. It was some of the best times I've had at any sports games.

Especially with four teams left in the Arena Football League.

A lot of them either moved to another league or suspended operations. That's what's sad the most about what is happening to the Arena Football League.

Plus another thing is, fans are closer to the field and field is much shorter than the NFL. I've might have mentioned this but I'll say it again. Punting in arena football is illegal nd you would either have to kick field goals or go for it on 4th downs.

I've been to a Green Bay Blizzard game once, which is part of the Indoor Football League. The fields are much shorter and the goal posts are much different from high school, college, and NFL goal posts.
One. Tampa Bay Storm. Faster moving. Not a lot of standing around in a huddle like the NFL. No plans to return though. Once was enough.

I only went once and watched when I was forced to watch in the hospital with nothing but basic cable. It's not interesting when TDs happen so fast it's like a first down.
