The first Jets-Patriots matchup of the 2016 season has been moved to 4:25 p.m. EST kickoff time on Sunday, Nov. 27. The game will air on CBS.

The Green and White was originally scheduled to host New England on Sunday Night Football in Week 12. The Chiefs-Broncos matchup has been flexed into that timeslot.

The Jets enter their bye week in Week 11, while the Patriots travel to San Francisco to play the 49ers before their trip to MetLife Stadium.

Good. The Broncos have the 5th best record in football but only 3rd best in their own division with the Chiefs being 1 of the 2 teams better than the Broncos are, with the Raiders the other while the Jets are a complete joke. I'd even move that out of the 4:25 CBS slot too and put it at 1. Not sure what the other 1 PM CBS games are that week, but I'd have to imagine at least 1 of them is better than the Jets/Patriots would be if not all of them.

Edit: Well, here are the 1 PM CBS games that week, they are all terrible: Tennessee @ Chicago, Jacksonville @ Buffalo, Cincinnati @ Baltimore, San Diego @ Houston. I'd still swap Cinci/Baltimore or Houston/SD with the Jets/Patriots for that week.

Also, the Jets have a Monday night game with the Colts the next week in week 13, so I guess the suits at the NFL office finally came to their senses and realized it wasn't a smart idea to showcase this Jets team on primetime 2 straight weeks if they are serious about the ratings decline.

Glad the NFL had enough sense to avoid another prime time snooze fest. I feel for anyone who watched the whole Rams/Jets game. That was hard enough to watch on Redzone.

The redzone channel needs to do a split screen instead of staying on one game for so long
