The NFL is adding a 4th NFL game in London in 2017. The article does mention declining ratings in the U.S. I think there are a lot of reasons for that, and I believe the London series is one of them. The NFL had better be careful not to ignore it's primary audience (any more than it already has, that is).

I hate that idea myself but I think it's about money.

Weird.

I'm beginning to think the NFL is some sort of business enterprise, and that the owners have poured billions of dollars into their teams in order to turn a profit...

I don't. It's too early. Quite frankly, if the NFL insists on London Games during the regular season, they need to stop the 9:00 ET otherwise do it during preseason or don't do it at all. It's stupid how greedy Goodell's gotten. Everytime he comes up with ideas, the owners are agreeing to it is what's worse about it.

Interesting. It's almost like said enterprise trying to turn a profit thinks its primary market will continue to line its pockets despite declining ratings and decisions that are unpopular with the primary market...

When's Australia? The Aussies seem to tolerate American football. They keep sending us kickers, don't they?

A 16 hour plane ride from Dallas plus over the International Date Line, which is why I was amazed to read they were considering other places.
