I'm not saying Prescott is terrible, in the games that he lost he looked very rookie-ish to me because the Giants got to him and made him rush the ball.

Look at the schedule, Cowboys not faced one big pass rushing team all season.

BRADY,lets face it they shoulda gave it to him last year over cam!!

This is year his qb rating is the best!
Brady wasn't in the discussion all year, especially when his team went 3-1 without him and Garoppolo lit it up without Gronk. He also didn't look like an MVP yesterday by completing 50% of his passes while his #1 ranked D led them to victory.

He also has a lower passer rating than Matt Ryan, who happens to play with the 26th ranked D. Aaron Rodgers is also pretty close in passer rating and he is supported by the 24th ranked D and no run game.

WHAT!!Brady has been in the discussion for last 8 to 9 years, yes after he came back from suspension he was in the discussion!!

And unlike matt ryan and aaran rodgers, brady has been winning!!!

Brady like last yea(2nd to cam in mvp votings)

has been in the discussion

first it was matt ryan mvp favored(who was second brady!!)

then carr(who was second?BRADY!)

then prescot(who was second BRADY!)

Now they want to switch up to rodgers(who has been terrible all season expect these past few games).

While brady like EVERY year is always constitent and winning!!

And if you didnt check stats his favored to win mvp(plus looks like his making anothr superbowl appearance)

22 TDS,2 interceptions!

and only has 1 LOST!

40 years??!!Brady = mvp!

and oh yeah i dont see any team in their conference to win a play off game against patroits!

You said "all year". We are talking about 2016 MVP here, not past years.

Yes, Brady has been winning. So has his team including Garopollo and Brisett who was a rookie.

The MVP should not always go to the best player on the best team. This year it should go to a player that has carried his otherwise pedestrian team to the playoffs. The Patriots would make the playoffs this year without Brady and there is ample evidence for this. Also, the MVP is not handed out because a QB may make a Superbowl appearance. I tend to agree, NE will be there.

So he needs at least 6 more TD's otherwise that will be the lowest total for an MVP QB since Steve McNair. Not sure I see it happening as he will probably rest in week 17.

What does age have to do with winning the MVP?

Brady also has the 7th ranked rushing attack and NFL leader in rushing TD's.

he has two games against jets and miami

although idont see him having 6 tds,but if he wanted to he can get those 6 tds!

I was showing age because at 40,he is playing like his in his prime!

and by the way in the nfc its been brady, manning, ben and joel who been making it to superbowl for last 15 years!!!

Best player in the NFL is a different discussion. We are talking about the 2016 MVP and there are many reasons he isn't that in this thread.

More: teams Brady has played: Browns, Bengals, Steelers (w/o Ben), Bills, Seahawks, 49ers, Jets, Rams, Ravens, Broncos (55-85 combined record). His passer rating was poor against Seattle and Denver, the only two elite defenses on the list.

QB's like Ryan, Rodgers, Carr and Stafford have to overcome terrible defenses. Ryan has scored over 41 points in back to back weeks without Julio Jones and has thrown a TD in every game. Brady has not thrown a TD in 20% of his games this season.

If you think Brady is playing like he was in his PRIME, you clearly DID NOT WATCH HIM in 2007! Yesterday he was sitting on the bus right next to pedestrian.... Brady might just win the MVP this year and you wont hear me complain but if you think he is as good as ever, your watching with rose colored glasses..

The game plan by New England yesterday was to let Denver's offense beat them and they couldn't. New England called a very cautious offense yesterday and it worked out very well for them. I think Matt Ryan is a good QB, but let's pump the breaks here a little bit. Remember, Ryan has the luxury of playing 9 of his 16 games inside a dome this season. He doesn't have to worry about the cold, the snow, the rain, poor field conditions, the wind and sun getting in his receivers' eyes for more than half of his games.

Oh and he also threw 2 costly pix sixes against Kansas City that lost Atlanta the game........
