He doesn't have to worry about the cold, the snow, the rain, poor field conditions, the wind and sun getting in his receivers' eyes for more than half of his games.

Oh and he also threw 2 costly pix sixes against Kansas City that lost Atlanta the game........
All fair points. Ryan has more than bounced back from the KC outing though and without Jones. Has Brady played in very poor conditions so far this year? Certainly not all of those that you have listed.

The conservative game plan vs Denver just shows how much of an advantage Brady has in coaching, defense and running game. It was very smart of BB to restrict chances of Brady getting smacked around as he has in previous defeats in Denver.

Also:

Anyway, I still think Brady will get it if his main rivals fall in the next few weeks which is quite possible.

I voted Matt Ryan. He's having a stellar season. Crown him.

I'm a Packer fan, but Rodgers hasn't played as good throughout the season as he did during his other MVP years. He stunk in some mid-season games.

True but do you think he has had less support this year? IMO only one of Rodgers or Stafford can potentially go 2-0 and of either does, they will make a jump in the conversation.

Who, Rodgers? His support is about the same as other years.

He has good receivers & line. Good coaches. Defense is up & down, but all defenses are up & down. He lost Eddie Lacy early though, but Montgomery has been playing great the last few games.

UH.. yea.. Ryan (falcons) are #1 in their division...
NFC South

You probably mean Conf...

Fair or NOT, many times a player like Brady, who is consistently the best in the league, can be over looked by someone like Matt Ryan who is not always among the talk of MVP. Voters we'll see Brady and think, yea.. Brady is Brady.. but look at Matt Ryan, never seen him do this before.. its one of those 'grass is greener on the other side' things.. Ryan will get votes just because he is doing (for the 1st time) what Brady does and has been doing for 15 years...

What reason is a qb with 22 tds and 2 interceptions isnt in the thread?
And note he missed 4 games look at his stats, imagine if he didnt miss those 4 games

More: teams Brady has played: Browns, Bengals, Steelers (w/o Ben), Bills, Seahawks, 49ers, Jets, Rams, Ravens, Broncos (55-85 combined record). His passer rating was poor against Seattle and Denver, the only two elite defenses on the list.

Matt ryan's passer rating EVEN worse against denver and seattle(who was blowing them up first two halfs)

And?

Considering he missed 4 games and his stats ARE ALMOST up there with the other so called good qbs, doesnt he sound mvp?Imagine if matt ryan missed 4 games, but of course matt ryan doesnt have records, tds, nothing!
And according to stats drew brees has most tds this season not matt ryan and remeber brady missed 4 games, and actually only games didnt throw a td have been against broncos, and bills!

And according to all mvp polls brady(like always)is winning the votes

matt ryan is an average qb who wont even get passed the first round, heck i question if they even make it to play offs this year!

Don't forget that Brady was gift wrapped a team already in 1st place in their division with the season already a quarter done.
