Niners fire coach Chip Kelly after one season - NFL.com

Chip Kelly fired! Up to five openings now, teams don't even wait for Black Monday anymore!

LA, Jax, Buff, SD, SF...

There's going to be at least one (or more) high profile, big name coaches who return to the coaching ranks this year. Coughlin is almost certain but I wouldn't be surprised to see another big name...

They probably had higher expectations for him since he won 26 games in his 1st three seasons. He probably was hired based on those numbers.

Rex Ryan and Mike Smith should get noticed.

Denver
Buffalo
San Francisco
Los Angeles
San Diego
Jacksonville

All need new head coaches. Rumors are that if Houston loses to Oakland in the first round Bill O'Brien could get the axe. Also some grumblings about Los Angeles going after Sean Payton.

Sean Payton is still coaching the Saints unless he is going to be fired tomorrow

Payton should have been fired after the 2015 season. He was retained with a five-year extension. A 7-9 record is not convincing to return for another season. Payton and/or general manager Mickey Loomins need to separate from the Saints.

3 straight 7-9 seasons for New Orleans. It's not that far fetched that Payton could be sent to Los Angeles if the price is right.

The 49ers are in need of a head coach and they should find a buyer for Colin Kaepernick.

Price? It shouldn't be a price if his team was 7-9 three seasons in a row. What would they be paying for? Below average coach?
