IMO, it's Atlanta's to lose. If their historic offense shows up like it has throughout the season and their defense plays as well as they did against GB, they should win.
Who expected the Seahawks to do nothing against the Falcons in the divisional game? I doubt Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson think "We are playing the Falcons. Let us show up and be stupid."

The Packers had issues from the start of the season. Defense was a preexisting problem from 2015. As long as the Packers make the playoffs, defense is not addressed.

The Patriots are a different and much better team than the Seahawks and the Packers.

The Patriots are frequent visitors to Super Bowl games. They know how to win. Super Bowl LI comes down to the Patriots continuing their mastery or the Falcons showing they are real instead of fake.
Sure the Packers defense was bad, but that doesn't mean the Falcons weren't impressive! I didn't even watch the whole game, but that Matt Ryan shovel pass TD was pretty awesome today. The Seahawks couldn't stop them either.

Are the Patriots much better than the Packers and Seahawks? Didn't they lose at home to the Seahawks? Are they better than the Packers? Probably, but we may never see a Brady vs. Rodgers matchup.

The Falcons have not impressed me yet. If they win Super Bowl LI, then I can participate in that conversation.

Today, it was Packers shoddy defense + Aaron Rodgers having a bad day = Atlanta Falcons win.

I hope you're basing this on the Patriots' experience and are not that impressed by them steamrolling the weak AFC this year.

Atlanta went 2-2 vs. the AFC this season. New England went 3-1 vs. the NFC this season. Oddly enough, both Atlanta and New England went 3-1 vs. the NFC West.

The Falcons will win, and easily. They are too strong on both sides of the ball. Brady, great as he is, will get beat up and harrassed. He won't have time to throw. Just like Marino way back in Super Bowl XIX.

Interesting, but the Pats have opened up as 3 point favorites. The over / under is 58.5 - that part is right, but it'll be the Falcons. NFL Odds: NFL Vegas odds weekly. Free pro football betting odds.

Final score: Falcons 39 - Patriots 20.

I have never pulled for an Atlanta based team like I will pull for the Falcons on Super Bowl Sunday.

Then he must of had a bad game against Atlanta twice cause Atlanta beat them in the regular season too.

But How does a team score over 30 points 12 times, and 40 points 5 times and make it to the superbowl not impress you?

I get it if they are not your pick that fair for you to have, but how does a Team does all this make to the superbowl and then you turn around and say "The Falcons have not impressed me yet." that's called a bias. It's one thing to not pick them to win the superbowl but it's hilarious to not consider them one of the elite teams this year. to late talk about being impressed. they going to the superbowl not biding for a play off spot.
