A big political cartoon in today's Little Rock Democrat Gazette was hilarious !

It showed a Russian telling Putin............" I'm glad you are back to wearing shirts"
( reference to his going bare back often )

Putin is wearing a #12 football Jersey

I got my SUPER BOWL shirt and cap yesterday. Could they make them anymore thin?? Other than that, I love the cap. Has a plastic medallion on the back of it with LI and the trophy on it. Heather Gray, a color I love. Proudly wearing those all around town.

Brady can have my on field jersey if he wants.

Authorities recover Tom Brady’s Super Bowl jersey in Mexico, Acevedo says
"Through the cooperation of the NFL and New England Patriots' security teams, the FBI and other law enforcement authorities, the Super Bowl LI jersey worn last month by MVP Tom Brady has been recovered," the NFL said in its statement.

"The items were found in the possession of a credentialed member of the international media. Due to the ongoing investigation, we would refer any additional questions to the FBI," the NFL statement said.

The league also said a second Brady Super Bowl jersey was recovered, the one he wore in his victory against the Seattle Seahawks in 2015.
Seems like someone got a little greedy...

From the video clip of the Mexican "journalist", that jersey looks awfully deflated to me. It sure looks like forfeiting another first round draft pick and another 4 game Brady suspension.

HPD helps track down Tom Brady's missing Super Bowl jersey

HPD Chief Art Acevedo also called on the NFL to step up its locker room security.

Chief Acevedo repeated several times that finding Tom Brady's jersey wasn't his department's top priority, especially since, he said, security in the locker room where it was stolen didn't seem to be a priority for the NFL.

"They really need to check their protocols and their efforts, because this is at least two jerseys that we know of, and it required a response from the Houston Police Department and other partners to recover them," Acevedo said.

The NFL gave no specific mention of state or local involvement other than referring to them as "other law enforcement authorities" - which is really crappy.

The NFL obviously didn't really care since this Mexican media member had already stolen two other Super Bowl items - and did nothing about it. We should send them a bill for services rendered.

We get threats from the NFL about how we legislate ourselves. We can't get a mention when we help them out. Ridiculous...

The perp obviously had no interest in real reporting, as he was seen "looking for the players to ask for their signatures."

Now the truth comes out. It was a 19 year old Patriots' fan who figured it out.

19-year-old Patriots fan says his tip helped FBI find Tom Brady's stolen Super Bowl jerseys

That fan, Dylan Wagner, spoke to CBS Boston and detailed his role in the investigation. Wagner, who collects sports memorabilia, apparently sold the alleged thief, Martin Mauricio Ortega, a jersey on eBay last December. The two shared photos of their jersey collections, and Wagner noticed something strange—Tom Brady's jersey from Super Bowl XLIX.

Wagner showed the photo to a friend who works as an ATF agent, and he got back in touch after this year's Super Bowl when Brady said his jersey was missing, according to CBS Boston. When it was announced that Brady's Super Bowl XLIX jersey was also stolen, Wagner had a hunch.
