NOBODY will EVER beat favres record of 275 consecutive starts! the only man on the field that has a chance of that right now is peyton manning, but he will have to keep that up untill 2013 if thats going to happen.

Never say never. Before the early 1990s, nobody thought Lou Gehrig's, Hank Aaron's, or Roger Maris' respective records would break. But they've all been shattered.

Brett Favre was a superb QB. I'm sure GB will miss him on Sunday afternoons. It's always tough to lose a great player when they retire. Pittsburgh mourned when Jerome "the bus" Bettis retired. I know how you feel.

Favre was a much better QB than Bettis was a RB.

Who's comparing In Pittsburgh's eyes Bettis was a TREASURE! I was just merely making a comment on how tough it is for the fans when a great player retires! AND BETTIS WAS A GREAT PLAYER!!

face it, brett isnt coming back, he wouldnt of been so emotional at his last press confrense if he was. those tears showed that the loss to the giants in the nfc championship game was his last.. id like to believe that he will come back, but im guesing 99.9% that hes not

Favre was just as emotional when he played the Bears the last game of the season the year the Bears went to the Super Bowl.

He has been doing this for the last 3 or 4 years, going back and forth on staying or going. Just stay retired.

Here's the story. What he's doing is very unfair to not just the Packers but the city of Green Bay.
