Going to a different team and learning a new offense, new coaches, and new players is not easy. Brett Favre was a great QB however, how many awful int's has he thrown in his career?? Remember the NFC final against the Giants?? He will not be successful anywhere else.....in my opinion he will be in ranked in the lower half of all QB's if he plays elsewhere.

On the other hand...Mr. Favre, quit the BS with the retiring and unretiring....make up your freaking mind. Also, will any team pay him the $$$$ he's due to earn if GB trades him??

Or just dont come to Carolina. I'll take Jake Delhomme or Matt Moore over Mr. Backpedaler Favre anyday.

That'd be impossible since the Giants will be poised to repeat.

He aided my Big Blue Wrecking Crew rather nicely, at least in OT.

If anyone's wondering, here's a recent article on ESPN re: BF.

Are you kidding me. Does anyone think the Packers are going to allow him to do anything but ride the pine for the Packers or stay retired. Why would they let him go play for a team in their own divison. Packers are doing fine saying Shut up Brett.

Too many damn Favre threads here, so I'll just keep this going rather than contribute to the impostor threads.

The New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have expressed interest in retired Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre -- and the Jets have received permission to talk to him, a source told ESPN's Chris Mortensen on Friday.

AND

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers and Brett Favre have reached a compromise.

The Packers confirmed to ESPN that he won't show up for camp Sunday. Packers' management will now try and reach some sort of resolution to the on-going un-retirement saga, SI.com reports.
