Man as a Packer fan this is a hard day for myself. The man did so much for this team and it's fans and to think after 17 years he's done it is just weird.

You can only play with Depends on for so long....

Now we just need Chelios to retire and the world will be a better place.

Personally, I thought he'd come back for one final "tribute" run. But, then again, he's just a regular guy.

I am from the Chicago area and am a huge Bears fan. It is a great day for me. I can't wait for the Packers to go through 17 years of not having a starting QB.

Same here, I thought he would come back for another year.

Well in 17 years the Bears still wont have a average QB. Good luck with Grossman, maybe you ought to pay Urlacher some more money i mean he's earned it. Have fun in last place this season and next season, etc. etc.

As a die hard Packer fan who remembers the "dark ages" and then having Brett bring us to light, it is a horrible and very sad day. A day of mourning, but we were going to have to face this one way or another. He is awesome and he went out on top. And we may have some rebuilding to do, it wont matter because the Bears Still Suck! LOL

I am shocked!!!!!!! With the packers youth and what happened last season i thought for sure Brett would give it one more run. I picked the Pack to go to the Super Bowl and win it if Favre came back. Guess that wont happen.
