In the end it doesn't matter of his on field talent. As a Pats fan watching him he was great and potentially could have had a HOF career. But his past life leading into the NFL could not escape him, and I guess this was his escape.
How sad. All the talent and every reason in the world to seize the opportunity he had and escape his past life. In the end he'll be little more than a footnote in NFL history. Sadly there are many others like him.
