And get rid of the Thursday night games.

As a fan I like having those games but I know the players hate them. If they keep doing them I wish they'd do away with those awful color rush uniforms as well as try to tweak the schedule so the teams only have to play TNF after a bye week. That would mean no TNF for weeks 2 and 3 (week 1 has the kickoff special) but that would be better for the players.

And while we're on this subject, I also think the league should adjust scheduling so that no bye weeks align to opponents for the subsequent week. I had this though a few years ago when the Broncos drew 4 straight opponents coming out of their bye weeks. WTF is up with that? No team should have to face more than one opponent a season off their bye week and they should only have to face that team when they're coming off their own bye week. This would require minimal adjusting for the league, but I doubt we ever see these changes considered.

Looking back at the week 17 thread from last year I had my total at 147-111. I'm pretty sure I screwed up counting somewhere nut not sure where (plus, that doesn't even equal 256!), so unless Bill went through week-by-week (which I certainly don't have the time to do, so I applaud him if he did) I'm going to leave my total last year as 147-111 since that's what I had down. Here's hoping I keep better records in 2017

Chiefs @ Patriots. Seems like the champs ALWAYS win on banner night, even if the games are usually close. So, that's the way I'll go. Brady and the Pats down 4 midway through the 4th, Brady marches them down the field for a touchdown for the final margin. Pats by 3. Rest of the games later.

Week: 0-0
Last season: 147-111

2016 NFL Week 17 Picks

Nope. Certainly didn't add them all up. I was able to get most all of the totals from the link above including yours where you will see your 159 win total. I only had to go back to week 15 for one and didn't want to go back any further than that.

SO the cat will not be accurate on the predictions of half the teams being undefeated next week, looks like MORE than half the teams will still be undefeated week 2

Now here is what sucks (or in this case, Blows: Hurricanes) Now suppose the thing does hit the East Coast of Florida. (I live on the West Coast) Power goes out all down the East Coast, and winds knock out pockets of power here. We could, sadly, be weeks without power. That means not only would I miss week one, but week 2 as well. By week 3 The folowing things would have already been decided and I missed them:

Patriots wrap up number one seed in playoffs.
Jets, Bears, still hopeless, eliminated from playoff contention
My FINZ win the opening game against the Chargers and I miss it AND
All 142 fans on hand in Los Angeles for the Chargers game rush the field when the entire team sits down for the anthem

See....by week 3 I'd have missed out on a lot of football. And excitement.
And what if the Browns were to get the win against the Ravens? would that not be wroth seeing ?

Still I can be entertained by the forum here. And hopefully do the same for you.

Taking the Patriots tonight before I forget to get it in. With the Bills holding the Chiefs draft pick I think I'll actually be cheering for the Pats too!
