Live, in COLOR from the home office near Tampa Florida, where we have electricity but little else to do....Here are the Cat's weekly picks, along with jokes quips and trivial observations.......

Thursday Night
Texans at BENGALS Both teams lost at home Both teams looked Awful. Overall, the Stripey cats should be the better team, but they did not play like it. I think that they will growl back and claw their way to a close win, look for a low scoring affair either way.

Bill's Buffaloes at PANTHERS Both teams had an easy game last week against bottom 10 fodder. This week, the competition will be a little tougher. Home field advantage for the felines.

======================================
A SUPER BOWL REMATCH
Vikings at STEELERS

In Super Bowl IX The Steelers dominated the line and won 16-6 over the vikings. I don't think that the Vikings will quite avenge this one on the road, but a good game should be played. Will the Steelers defense be able to stop the Vikings multi dimensional attack and will Big Ben play like the Champ he is and make piecemeal of the Vikings D ? Should be a good game.
================================================== =============

PATRIOTS at Saints The Saints are in trouble. They looked awful last night against the Norsemen. The Patriots are in a must win situation to stay atop the AFC east with a mere 15 weeks to go. Look for Brady to win the QB battle of the Old Geezers against Brees.

Eagles at CHIEFS The Chefs will have home wigwam advantage and should edge out a much improved Eagles team.

Bears at BUCCANEERS I would suggest that the Bucs coming off of a week one Bye will make the Bears loss to the Falcons look like a Pop Warner game. Look for the bears to be Skinned alive. And I will enjoy it.

CARDINALS at Colts With orwithout any luck on the team, the Colts are a long way from being good. Sooner or later the Pesky Red Birds are going to have to learn how to win on the road.

Browns at RAVENS
But the Raven still beguiling all my fancy into smiling,
Straight I wheeled a cushioned seat in front of bird, and bust and door;
Then, upon the velvet sinking, I betook myself to linking
Fancy unto fancy, thinking what this ominous bird of yore—
What this grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt, and ominous bird of yore
Meant in croaking “Nevermore.”
(POE)

TITANS at Jaguars The TITANS were just outgunned last week by a possible Super Bowl contender. This week they will be up against a team without the starting number one WR and MArieotta should have a good day in a win.

Jets at RAIDERS If you area Jet's fan, then go rent Heidi and watch it instead. If you are too young to understand that comment, then look it up.

MY FINZ at Chargers I need to support MY FINZ coming off a bye week on the raod against a team that disappointed last night, and I will forgo the usual Chargers Jokes because the next game on the list is............

============ANOTHER SUPER BOWL REMATCH==============

Cowboys at BRONCOS Might be wishful hopeful thinking, but things will be different on the road this time as the Broncos avenge the Super Bowl XII loss and win at home.

49ers at SEAHAWKS The 49ers looked like a bottom 10 team. The Seahawks looked like a good team beat by the refs, from what very little I saw.

Redskins at RAMS Probably another heap big win for Rams and heap big loss for Indians.

PACKERS at Falcons Game of the week in the Stadium of the week. The Dirty Birds had a few problems against the Bears last week, look for a better effort and maybe a little help from the refs....Still, the Pack looks like the kind of team that will edge out a victory by a field goal.

LIONS at Giants Hard to pick the New York Football Giants to open 0-2 and lose at home on MNF, and hard to pick the Lions to start 2-0 and win on the road, but that is what I am doing. Based on what I saw and did not see last week (mostly the latter.)

last week 8-7
