You're just a Cowboy hater and your hate clouds your judgement. Your comments about Aikman is pretty insightful as to that. No one gets to be the lead analyst for a network without having their shixt together. Bias is a hateful mistress.

I'm watching Thursday night football and find Romo pretty unique and easy to listen too. First time I've seen and listened to him in the booth.

Theisman was never highly rated and didn't last long because of that.

Romo is awesome, I really like his insight. He even said to Nance, you pointed to the corner for the TD to Jordy, you should have said so on air. I'm enjoying Nance more now.

His second game was the Pats (my team) and Saints, so I obviously heard him the whole game. Although I only gave him an 8 (a few games in can't earn a 10), he is excellent. Almost clairvoyant. He called plays before they happened. He could anticipate when the QB was going to change the call based on the defensive lineup and was correct. I very much think that he has huge potential to be one of the better we have seen in recent years. He seemed genuine, unbiased, and just plain knowledgeable of the game.

I love him. When the rain delay happened, he was about to launch into a big speech about the Chicago QB situation, and they cut him off to go to commercial. I was actually bummed because I wanted to hear what he had to say. I can't remember that ever happening before.

He's passionate, he's engaged, he pays attention to what is happening in the game. I think he's great.

Yep. Romo works for me as an analyst.

He gives excellent info play by play. The guy directs my attention to what really is happening on the field.

With apologies to the Imagine Dragons, Romo's made me a BELIEVER!

yep, and he gets better every time out. its fun listening to him tell everyone what play is going to be run, in which direction, and what the defense is going to do.

I like it because of his insight for the QB position. Rodgers is an architect of the position, listening to Romo helps understand why Rodgers does some of the things he does.

First time hearing him last night. I'd say he was just okay. I think his voice needs to be a bit louder. His insight to the game was probably better than average but I just don't think he has a great voice for the job.

Predicting plays isn't exactly the number one job of a color commentator. I'd say number one is to just have a very good voice for TV. I don't think Romo is there yet. I also gave Romo a six. Yesterday's game was the first one I heard him do.

Second time now and I'm more impressed. His voice is natural and not fake, like the professional announcers, and a lot better than Collinsworth on NBC and Gruden on MNF. He's definitely making Nance pick up his game and pay more attention. Romo is calling out penalties and plays faster than most. I like that. He's engaged and insightful.
