I do not know if the Lions were eliminated from postseason contention prior to losing to the Bengals. Qualifying for postseason play could have extended Jim Caldwell's tenure for one additional season.

Makes you wonder what Marvin Lewis has on someone in management! No way this guy should still be the head coach.

Well Todd Bowles is officially off the hot seat since he got a contract extension. He deserves credit keeping his team playing this year even with a bare cupboard as far as talent.

Well thats surprising (Koetter). I'm sure someone out there has already made a hilarious "Welcome back Koetter" meme that will amuse everyone but Buccaneers fans.

Okay maybe some Bucs fans will laugh for a second or two.....

The team doesn't/didn't have anyone better to choose from. They lost about six games by narrow margins, had really bad injuries to key players, a hurricane, Hard Knocks distraction, no bye week, starting RB suspended a quarter of the season and played crappy when he did suit up.....just a miserable set of circumstances for the team after 9-7 the season before....you can't get that bad all of a sudden.

I know what was announced but keep an eye out for Jon Gruden to be gone.
