Giants can very well bounce back next season if O-line and LB issue is addressed. Later (2019 draft) add Alpha RB and take it to next level. But in near future, we need to address O-line. I really don't care about rebuilding the front office as I really like Steve Spag as D coach. New front office means new coaching staff and that can set us back a couple of years as players will have to adjust to a new scheme and new coach. Especially for Eli, it will be difficult. Better to keep the same front office and coach and ride it out for next 2 yrs and switch when you start Davis Webb or Rosen (If Drafted by NYG)
It's the classic case of how the Redskins' front office always tried to build the team. They would go out and try to make the big free agent splash by signing a big name receiver or running back. All the while, neglecting the offensive line. The Redskins would have a couple really good players on their line (Chris Samuels, Jon Jansen, etc...) but they would also have glaring holes in that line that could never truly protect the quarterback. At least when Gibbs came back to town, he brought back Joe Bugel who helped to bring in solid guys on that OL and good coaching, and the 'skins had a heck of a offensive line in Gibbs' second tenture, minus center. Fast forward to today, Snyder invested in bringing Bill Challahan in from Dallas - who helped to revamp the Cowboys' OL, and he has done an amazing job with the 'skins OL. Of course, 4/5 of the OL is currently injured and out, but when they're healthy, they're among the best in the league.

You have to build that OL up first. Not only that, but also build depth as well. You can give Eli pro bowl tight ends and wide receivers to throw to all day, but it won't work if he's getting killed.

It's time to address this issue immediately or else we will be wasting massive talent and blaming Eli all the way.

Exactly! I mean, when Eli's receivers are healthy, look who he has to throw to! That's not an issue. They can most definitely upgrade the running back position, but I think it's all fruitless unless the offensive line is addressed.

That was a foolish approach--he had to know he was gambling. He is in the building every day; you cant tell me Flowers and others looked that great in camp, and what we got is what we got during the regular season. The O-line has been getting bad for quite some time now, and it wasnt like the line was great last season. In truth, the line was pretty bad last season.

Here is what really happened: When the Giants first drafted Erik Flowers, they had Will Beatty at LT. Flowers was going to play RT. But then Beatty--who was a solid LT, probably underrated--got hurt in the spring. This forced the Giants to move Flowers to LT earlier than anyone would have wanted to, and that began the downward spiral of the Giants' O-line. After that, it became a matter of the Giants being stubborn (not moving Flowers) or ignoring the obvious (Line is getting worse).

Ben and Jerry must be going home this week.

steve Spagnuolo may be interim head coach.

They cant make Spags the interim now...no one is playing with less effort than the Giants' D. That would be a bad look. It is not going to happen; or, at least it isnt going to happen after a week of effort like that...

Mara already told it's not happening at all before the season. They will evaluate after the season is over.

Dirk Koetter is getting fired in Tampa Bay, I can't think of a reason he survives after this year.
Chuck Pagano should be getting fired in Indianapolis. The Colts have been in a tailspin since the Patriots crushed them in the AFC title game 3 years ago.

Beyond those 2, I can't think of a coach who should/will get fired, of course things could change as there's still 7 weeks to go in the regular season.

Two definite shoulds in my eyes. Ben McAdoo for losing his locker room. Marvin Lewis since he will have 15 years with no playoff wins.
