Apparently, the NFL has come up with the solution to the national anthem controversy. I'm not sure when it will be put into place - maybe next year.
The players will remain in the locker room until the national anthem is over.

This may not be the perfect solution but, to me, it would appear to be the perfect compromise solution.
The man, who is not my President, finds this solution to be horrible.

What is your opinion of this compromise?

I agree with President Trump, this solution is horrible.

my solution to the situation is that the players that dont stand for the anthem leave the NFL.

In other words, keep the children out of sight until the time is right.

Out of sight, out of mind. It is easier to make a problem disappear then it is to actually fix it.

That is NOT going to happen.

It's junk. Stop playing the anthem. Problem solved. Players only started coming out onto the field like 20yrs ago because the nfl felt the need to drape itself in the flag and patriotism. A poor choice. Hopefully the players would walk out onto the field anyway and kneel.

This sounds like a reasonable solution. For the record I did not like Kap's move and I sure hated the Pig socks. But the over reaction which exploded when our Moron in Chief threw gas on the thing was just as bad. I mean we had 30 year season ticket holders tearing up their tickets over this, that is insane.

People need to have thicker skin and realize part of the freedoms that flag provides is the right to peaceful protest. Me? I just wanted to enjoy football without all the noise.

It was actually calming down before Trump tweeted. He really did add fuel to the fire. Many people have lost sight of the context, and many organizations have come out and said, they don't want to be used as a scapegoat. It is totally blown out of proportion now. Listening to Trump, he doesn't even get it himself.

Jonas, the national anthem is not going anywhere anytime but that is a good idea though.
