But both Dallas and LA Charges won to improve to 7-6 and the Eagles also beat the LA Rams this past week so they went from one win over teams with winning records to 4.
Then these stats are king of pointless. Going from 1 win last week to 4 this week.

playoff contenders' record vs winning teams thru week 14

4-2 Philadelphia
6-3 Minnesota
3-3 LA Rams
5-4 New Orleans
5-3 Carolina
5-4 Atlanta
2-4 Seattle
3-6 Detroit
2-6 Green Bay
1-5 Dallas
When you say that the Eagles will "likely lose their edge coming down the stretch", you very well could be wrong. With the loss of Wentz, the players appear to MORE motivated to show that they are "for real", especially the defense.

could be, should have used a better choice of words, maybe something more like "need to be guarded about losing their edge", that win in LA was impressive I must say.

Uhh... yes they do.

They beat the Chargers who are 7-6.
They beat the Panthers who are 9-4.
They beat the Cowboys who are 7-6.
They beat the Rams who are 9-4.

Don't you know it's not polite to provide actual statistics.

They might have 3 or 2 this week. Proves my point these stats are pointless.

Huge, huge NFC games this week:

--Packers@Panthers: Pack loses and they can kiss any dream of the playoffs goodbye. I'm taking Carolina to put Green Bay out of their misery but if "Bad Cam" shows up the Pack can take it...
--Rams@Seahawks: the Rams are the better team this year but have had questionable play versus elite teams. I'm taking Seattle, but whoever wins will win the division...
--Cowboys@Raiders: I just need the Raiders to pit Dallas out of their misery, but I can't trust them. Whoever loses is effectively out of their conference playoffs...

The Rams I felt for a long time would win that match-up at Seattle, and I still feel that way. They are the better team, although Seattle beat them in LA. The Rams HAVE to win however, or it will feel awfully strange having a team win a division, but yet be swept by the other contender in your own division. If the Rams lose, they may still win the West based on Seattle having to play at Dallas the following week with Elliott back in the lineup.

So why did you bring it up in the first place then?
