I'm pulling for the Vikings, and they and the Saints are still the teams to beat. The Rams were too inexperienced (so much for Gurley being match-up proof), the Eagles are done without Wentz, and Carolina has a poor running game, and Cam is not a good pocket passer. The Saints are the only team that can win in Minnesota, and the NFC championship game between these two is gonna be a good one.

So once it happened and once it did not. Is this suppose to be earth shattering?

The NFC title game will be Philadelphia or Atlanta versus Minnesota or New Orleans or Carolina. So the Vikings and Saints can only meet in the divisional round.

Well then, it's a good thing that the Eagles wouldn't have to win in Minnesota.

I'm glad the Falcons played a solid game. It was annoying still seeing them defensively fold on 3rd and 15 or 2nd and 26 but I can't complain.

Why does Murk sound like me from last year's playoffs? Lol. The situation is favorable for a Falcons win in Philadelphia buuuttttt will the inept Falcons show up? Or will it be the teasing/choking Falcons? Watching a Falcons game can have more drama than a reality show (vs Chi, Det, Car, Mia, Buff). I gotta be tempered this year.

"The situation is favorable for a Falcons win in Philadelphia".

Let's see
Unlike the Rams, the Eagles actually have a defense.
They won't be playing in a dome or 75 degree temperatures.

Be careful what you wish for.

it's going to be in the upper 40's with a slight chance of rain in Philly, hardly any kind of weather for Atlanta to be too concerned about

The Eagles have a shot at beating local boy, Matt Ryan, and the Falcons, even with Nick Foles. I have a good feeling about this game. Many, including myself don't think the Eagles can get to the Superbowl without Wentz, but they can win this game. The Eagles have a history of choking in big games, but so do the Falcons.

I estimate that the Eagles-Falcons game will be close to a pick em' game in Vegas. Many overreact to what most recently occurred, hence a lot more of the public will side with Atlanta. That doesn't mean though I have a personal "lean" on who wins this game. Tough call right now to make. I don't put that much stock into Philly's performance its last two games, but I also don't put much into the weather, even if it is cold- Atlanta's make-up suggests to me they are suited just fine to handle rotten weather. And anyhow, the long range forecast in the northeast suggests it will be coming out of this current polar vortex in a big way.

IMO< the Rams defense is better than the Eagles...
without those costly turnovers, they hold the Falcons to under 15... If the Eagles do the same, they got a good chance of winning, if not, good luck indeed... i don't see Foles beating Ryan in a shootout.. but i have been wrong before...
