Not everyone has a DVR. We don't. That said, I'd have to be dead to miss an Eagles game or a playoff game. I've missed wedding, funerals and other functions because of football.

Also, these games are meant to be enjoyed live. Recording then and then watching later...I guess it works for plenty of people but for me that just doesnít compute.

I went 1-3 the first round and up to 2-2 this weekend.

Both number one seeds are left, and 4 really solid teams are in the hunt for a Super Bowl berth.

In the NFL , Anyone (except the Browns) can beat anyone else on any given day.

THAT being Said Look for a very defensive and well played game this weekend.

The Meen-uh-Dow-Duh Vikings travel to the Nest in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love to take on the high flying eagles. The Vikings are a win away from hosting a Super bowl, something no team has ever done. The Eagles are a win away from their third trip to the Big Game. Both teams took down solid opponents.

SO home field and Number one Seed I will take the EAGLES at home. I think though it will again be a close game and if last weekend was any indication, it shows not to assume ANYTHING or turn the game off until the clock says 00 !!!!!

The Diggs play (my Maryland guy by the way) was the most spectacular ending to a playoff game ever. Just stunning. For a guy who liked both teams and didn't really care who won that entire game was a joy to watch. I am still laughing at Mike Tomlin kicking an onsides kick, what a bonehead.
I prefer dvr. Fast fwd through commercial.

The Vikings and Eagles have played each other in the playoffs three times. Twice in Philadelphia (1981 and 2005) and once in Minneapolis (2009). The Eagles are 3-0.

... I have never seen someone so butthurt by what the Vikings did last night. Listening to him, you would think the Vikings were some 8-8 team that backed into the playoffs and had no reason even being in that game last night. The final play was no doubt lucky, but the Saints were about just as lucky to convert that 4th and 10 on statistically the best 3rd down defense since 1991.

Brees made a throw, Keenum matched it. You couldn't ask for a better ending if you were the NFL.

Understatement of the century.
