That all said, this team will be a force to be reckoned with when all the pieces are back together. I would love to see them make the Super Bowl. But if they don't, I'm not going to cry over it.

No doubt. It's nice to see 3 teams that overachieved their expectations still playing. I'm pretty sure the Jags and Vikings weren't supposed to even make the playoffs. I admittedly lost $100 to my buddy because even I didn't think the Vikings would make the playoffs.

I will be acting like a rabid, die hard Eagles fans this Sunday no differently than any other game day.

Go Birds!

That's cool June night baseball weather in Minnesota.

Ed Hochuli's staff is officiating the NFC Championship game and his crew statistically calls much more penalties for much more yardage than the average. I like the over 39 for this game and 50 degree weather for this tilt (and the game at Foxboro) doesn't hurt. Even if the calls go against the offense, that will affect field position- hence shorter fields when the ball turns over. I see a good day for at the very least, plenty of field goals, which will eliminate the need for too many touchdowns. As to who wins, I am giving a slight lean to the Vikings. But tough call. I most likely see a close Minnesota win, but if the Eagles win, I suspect a blow out- I don't know why- perhaps the Vikings also as a road favorite in the NFC Championship getting massacred by Kerry Collins and the Giants? Obviously that has nothing to do with this current Sunday, but some time quirky premonitions have served me better than real analysis. I'll go Minnesota 26-24 rather than Philly 33-16.

Keenum has never faced a crowd like he will on Sunday...Eagles win 17-7, on to the SB.

Good Nick Foles has to show up, not his evil twin, Norm Snead. (I actually liked Snead, but that's for another time)

BTW, a little late now to bring this up I realize, but not one mention regarding the miracle ending, how the Saints got stuffed on 3rd-and-1 subsequent to the what should have been the game winning field goal. That play was just as big as the Diggs TD.
