Off the top of my head, the NFC teams I remember winning out and making the playoffs are the 2000 Giants and the 2008 Eagles. It's definitely not a easy thing to do.
Season is not over its just that they are not favored to reach the SB. It's not crazy to make that statement if there is no franchise QB to play in january.
Seattle slips out of playoff position after falling to Jacksonville as Atlanta overtakes them for #6 seed.
In addition to the likely suspensions coming up for Seattle's nonsense at the end of the game, they lost two more defensive players to injuries and Blair Walsh's chip shot miss at the end of the first half affected how Seattle had to go for a TD on their last drive instead of a field goal.

I was afraid of the Vikings until yesterday. The Falcons aren't good enough and the Seahawks won't win on the road.
The Packers with Rodgers - MAYBE.
The worst thing you can do on the road as a QB is throw a Int. Keennum surprised me because the guy he threw to wasnt even open. I picked seattle or Atlanta because both teams have QB's who reached the SB in the past.
If Atlanta is going to make the playoffs, they likely will still have to win at either New Orleans or at Carolina. I'm not counting on it. Without a victory in one of those two games, its unlikely they will get in.
